The Islamic Society of Gloucester (ISOG) located at 199–205 Barton Street, GL1 4HY is more than a mosque: it is a full-fledged community centre dedicated to promoting a comprehensive Islamic way of life grounded in the Qur’an and Sunnah. ISOG works to unite Muslim communities of all backgrounds through educational courses and lectures; it fosters youth engagement through meaningful programmes; it supports social welfare. ISOG also aims to build bridges with the wider Gloucester community, promoting understanding and mutual respect among Muslims and non-Muslims. As such, it seeks to nourish not just spiritual life, but social, educational and economic wellbeing too
